Your booking page
Turn on your branded booking page, or send bookings from your own website.
Your booking page is where homeowners book and pay. Business customers get request forms instead (see HOAs, contractors and commercial sites).
How to turn it on
- Go to Settings → Company → Booking page.
- Choose a Booking address, for example
example-backflow. It must be unique, 3 to 40 characters: lowercase letters, numbers and single hyphens. It is separate from your company name, so renaming the company does not break links customers have. - Add a Tagline (one line under your name) and a Brand colour for buttons, such as
#1d4ed8. - Set your testing season.
- Turn on Take bookings.
- Click Save.
Your page is at https://app.backflowbase.com/book/<your booking address>. Click open the
page to see it. To stop taking bookings without losing the page, turn Take bookings off.
How to put it on your website
Once the page is on, On your website gives you two ways:
- Copy prompt for your AI assistant: paste the prompt into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor. It builds a booking form in your site's own branding that sends bookings to Backflow Base through the API. The form needs an API key, sent from your website's server.
- Copy embed code: paste the code where the form should go. It shows your booking page inside your site.
Who you take
Under Who you take, turn on each kind of business customer you work with: Commercial, Contractors, HOAs, Property managers. Each one gets its own request form, with a Copy link and Copy embed code under Request forms.
