Card payments
Connect your Stripe account so customers pay by card.
Connect your own Stripe account, and customers pay by card when they book. Phone bookings get a link to finish paying. Money goes straight to your Stripe account. Backflow Base takes no cut; Stripe charges its own fees.
Only the owner can connect or disconnect Stripe.
How to connect Stripe
- Go to Settings → Company → Card payments.
- Click Connect Stripe.
- Sign in to Stripe, or create an account, and approve the connection.
- You come back to Backflow Base and see Stripe account connected.
The status line then shows one of:

| Not connected | Click Connect Stripe. |
| Connected — Stripe needs more details before you can take cards | Finish your details in Stripe. |
| Taking cards — finish payout details in Stripe | Add your payout details in Stripe. |
| Taking card payments | Nothing. You're set. |
After you change something in Stripe, click Check again.
What changes when you take cards
- The booking page takes payment when the customer books. Without Stripe, it says the customer pays after the test.
- Each booking gets its own pay link.
- You can send a client account a card pay link for bulk tests.
Refunds
Make refunds in your Stripe dashboard. Cancelling a job in Backflow Base doesn't refund it.
How to disconnect
Click Disconnect. New bookings then pay after the test.
