Company profile and prices

Your identity on reports, your price list, and promo codes.

Go to Settings → Company. Owners and office staff (Admin role) can change it. Each card has its own Save button.

Identity

How the company appears on a test report and to a customer: Legal name, Licence number (shown on reports where the state requires it), Time zone, Phone, Texting number, Email, Website and address.

  • The Texting number is in +1 format, for example +15125550100. Texts to customers come from it.
  • The time zone must be a real place, such as America/Chicago. A fixed offset like -07:00 is not accepted, because it does not follow daylight saving.

Your logo is under Settings → General (Organization logo). Renaming the company there does not change your booking address.

Price list

The server prices every booking from these. A change affects the next booking, never one already taken.

FieldWhat it is
Regular price, first deviceA one-time test for the first device.
Each extra deviceAdded for each device after the first, on every plan.
Yearly plan, first deviceThe price on the yearly plan.
Yearly plan, percent offOptional. A percent off the whole bill instead of the flat price.
Same-week surchargeA percent added to the first device for a visit within six days.
Same-day surchargeA percent added to the first device for a visit today.
Early-bird price (optional)A pre-season price for the first device.
Last day to book at early-birdGoes by the day the customer books, not the day of the visit.

An early-bird price needs both the price and its last day. The yearly plan price and the early-bird price are never combined: the customer gets whichever is lower.

A customer who books and pays by card on the yearly plan joins Autopilot: their card is kept and charged after each year's test. See Autopilot, the yearly plan.

Promo codes

Use codes for mailers, door hangers and partners.

  1. Under Promo codes, enter the Code and what it Takes off (a percent or an amount).
  2. Optional: when it Starts and ends, a limit on how many bookings can use it, and a note.
  3. Click Add code.

A code takes its amount off the whole bill, never below zero. Each code in the list shows how many bookings used it, and Used up when it reaches its limit.

Switch a code off when the campaign ends. Once a code is off, you can delete it. Bookings that already used it keep their price.
