Testing season
Set the part of the year customers can book a test.
Most residential assemblies are on irrigation lines, so they can be tested only while the system has water. Your testing season is the stretch of the year customers can book in.
How to set it
- Go to Settings → Company → Booking page.
- Under Testing season, pick when the Season starts and when the Season ends.
- Click Save.
It starts as April 1 to September 30. It repeats every year. An end before the start runs over the new year, for example November 1 to February 28.
What it changes
- On the booking page and in the client portal, days outside the season can't be picked. Out of season, the booking page says when the next open day is.
- A booking from your own website for a day outside the season is refused, with a message to show the customer.
- Your office can still put a job outside the season, for a retest or an emergency. The Add a job sheet warns you but takes it.
- Phone bookings are not held to the season. The office sees the day the caller asked for.
- Analytics → Season to date starts on your season's start.
A client account can narrow its own season in its portal, for example an HOA that turns its water on late. It must fall inside yours.
